Dental Handpiece, Dr. Abraham Chavez, The Tooth Inc

Preventive & General Dentistry

At The Tooth Inc, our number one priority is improving and maintaining your smile's overall health and aesthetics. Thus, preventive dental care will help you achieve just that by avoiding dental issues, such as tooth decay or gum disease, among other oral health concerns.

As part of our preventative practices, we recommend that our patients keep semiannual routine visits. This approach will help prevent many oral health complications and stop any issues from progressing. By visiting The Tooth Inc twice per year, we can detect early signs of decay or gum disease and address any problems promptly.

Part of the dental care treatments that we offer as preventative & general dentistry are;

  • Dental Cleanings

    • We recommend visiting us twice a year for routine dental cleanings. Having your teeth cleaned every six months will ensure that no significant issues arise on your teeth surface or gums. Any excess plaque or tartar buildup that you are not able to remove by simply brushing will be taken care of by one of our experienced dentists.

  • Dental Exams

    • Our doctors will perform dental exams when visiting us for your semiannual dental cleanings. These exams consist of taking a panoramic x-ray or a complete series, depending on the patient's needs. Our exams include oral cancer screenings and digital imaging with our state-of-the-art intraoral camera to identify areas of concern like tooth decay or gum issues. Our priority is keeping and maintaining your oral health and addressing any issues on time. Dental X-Rays

  • Dental Extractions

    • We offer dental extractions performed by experienced, trained specialists. Whether you need a simple or a more complicated surgical extraction, our general dentist and maxillofacial surgeons use the most atraumatic techniques to avoid tissue and bone loss. In turn, it allows for a faster healing process and better preservation of the surrounding tissue and bone.

  • Dental Fillings

    • We offer dental extractions performed by experienced, trained specialists. Whether you need a simple or a more complicated surgical extraction, our general dentist and maxillofacial surgeons use the most atraumatic techniques to avoid tissue and bone loss. In turn, it allows for a faster healing process and better preservation of the surrounding tissue and bone.

  • Sealants

    • Dental sealants are a thin plastic coating that we apply on the chewing surface of your teeth. Our doctors use dental sealants on healthy teeth to prevent tooth decay. Dental sealants bond to the surface of your teeth and act as a protective shield.

  • Fluoride Treatments

    • Our dentists recommend applying a fluoride treatment to prevent cavities. A fluoride treatment consists of a rinse after your routine cleaning every six months. Our doctors will apply this high fluoride concentrated solution as extra protection against tooth decay.

  • Flossing and Brushing Techniques

    • 80% of maintaining your oral health in optimal shape happens at home. Therefore, we recommend that our patients brush and floss at least twice daily to maintain optimal oral health. We offer flossing and brushing techniques by our trained doctors. However, if you feel that the toothbrush you are using is not the correct one or that you are not flossing correctly, let us help you.
